Godagari Sadar Union of Godagari upazila
The naturally formed Saramangala Ecopark is located on the side of Godagari-Amanura road, just 3 km east of the Daingpara junction of the upazila.
Overview:
Saramangla Eco Park, located in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district, was dug a 26 km creek from Nityanandapur to Harishankarpur in 2003 under the initiative of Barind Multipurpose Development Authority and various fruit and forest saplings were planted on both sides of the creek. Narrow roads are made through the bushes of the trees. In Saramangala, which is known as the main center of the creek, a special field is made for flower gardens and benches for sitting. People sitting on benches by the side of the creek lake enjoy the view of the greenery and the water coming from the river of Padma through pipes. It is also possible to travel by boat from one side of the creek to the other. Looking at both sides of the creek, one can see huge crop fields. Although here paddy and vegetable crops are cultivated, it will seem that it is just a combination of green. It is so green that tourists call the Saramangla area a greenhouse. Saramangala has facilities for using water, toilet and cooking stove.
