Sports and entertainment
The people of Godagari upazila have been sports lovers since ancient times. Various tournaments are held here every year. Cricket and football are now the dominant sports in this upazila, but other sports are not far behind. Indigenous sports like kabaddi, boow-chi etc. still exist in rural areas. There are several playgrounds in Godagari upazila. Among them, Godagari Model School and College ground is very well known.
