Famous Personalities
The late Md. Khalillah (Mahajan): He translated the Qur'an into Bengali poetry style. His home is in Ai hai (Rahi) village of Godagari union.
The late Riazuddin Ahmed: He was a resident of Balrampur village under Lalgola thana in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. The highly educated late Riazuddin Ahmed (BA, BT) crossing the rough waves of Padma, came to Godagari after the partition of Bangladesh and started high school (10th class to 8th class) in 1947. He is the founding headmaster of Godagari High School.
